The Orchard Apartment:

The Orchard Apartment, with a separate entrance and driveway is steeped in history as it is the lower level of the main plantation house. The Orchard Apartment was originally used as; staff quarters, the huge kitchen with open hearth, the laundry, and a baking room. The suites in the apartment were then used as bed and breakfast suites, and named after local Barbadian fruit bearing trees; 'Coconut Suite', 'Mango Suite', and 'Breadfruit Suite'.

All utilities (water, electric, gas), TV, Wifi, Phone (except overseas calls), 3 days/week Housekeeping service M-F, outdoor and pool maintenance, 10% Gratuities.

Featuring many of the same architectural elements seen in the upstairs Plantation House, the Orchard apartment showcases extra large window ledges, ole' time interior hurricane shutters, large rooms and an archway enclosed patio. Of course the apartment does not miss out on the wonderful breezes which blow over the plantation grass fields year long. Each of the three large bedrooms has a private en suite and walk-in closet, and the large 'coconut' suite also has a soaker tub. A large covered dining area and patio lounge open off of the modern kitchen. with views out to the mature orchard on one side and the plantation gardens the other this apartment is tucked away in an oasis of green. - Our tenants and guests have unrestricted use of the surrounding gardens, grounds and facilities. There are two swimming pools on the property. One close to the Orchard Apartment and the other located a short distance away in The Yard @ Sion Hill.
